Workmen’s Compensation

The Workmen’s Compensation Act (Chapter 236, Laws of Kenya) requires employers to compensate injured employees while in the course of official duties. It does not matter whether the employee was negligent or not provided the injuries were not self-inflicted.

This cover provides protection in the event of death, permanent disability and accidental medical expenses. The maximum compensation that can be provided is 60 months salary.
