SELF-SERVICE PORTAL FAQS

How can I access the customer portal?

The customer may access our portal by visiting our Madison Group website. Once the website, click on the portal login button, you will be redirected to the self-service portal dashboard.

Alternatively, search the Madison self-service portal, click on the available link, and proceed.

Can a new customer register or onboard via the self-service portal?

Indeed new customers can self-register on the portal. They will need to have an ID, KRA PIN, Photo, and Proof of Banking details ready for upload. Then, they may proceed to our self-service portal and click new customer? Click here to join option and proceed to give the bio-data such as mobile number, ID, and email address to create an account. Once done, they may now sign in using the credentials shared to the email address they provided, and proceed to fill out the various fields and submit the application.

How long does it take to open an account online?

Once we receive the application request, we review and confirm the details provided are sufficient; the account is created within 8 hours (same day). Once we create the account, an automated SMS and email are sent out to the client with the membership and account activation details.

If the application is not compliant (missing details) then we immediately reach out to the customer for further guidance.

How do Existing customers register?

On the self-service portal, they may click on the existing customer register and proceed to register, credentials will then be shared to their email, and they may use the same to sign in.

What services are available on the self-service portal?

Customers have visibility of their investment accounts, they may generate statements, initiate withdrawals, and even top up via Mpesa.

How safe is the self-service portal?

We have put in place a 2-step authenticator, to sign in one is required to submit their unique password (which can’t be saved), also an OTP is sent to the registered mobile number and email address.

APPLICATION FORM-ONBOARDING FAQS

For clients who do not wish to register online, what is the process?

Clients are required to fill in and sign the hard copy of the application form as guided by the customer service team or agent. This can be shared via email (an editable PDF is available), also available for walk-in customers.

The requirements are similar to online applications: an ID, KRA PIN, Photo, and Proof of Banking details ready. Once we create the account, an automated SMS and email are sent out to the client with the membership and account activation details.

How can I make a withdrawal?

The withdrawal process takes 3 working days

Can I change banking details at the point of withdrawal?

Indeed, we may make payments to the customer's preferred bank account. To update from the old, they are required to fill out and sign a bank update form, which may be shared upon request.

How do you ascertain that am the one making the withdrawal and not an impersonator?

Once we receive the withdrawal instructions, we make a call back to the customer using the number provided at the point of registration, we then vet the customer from there if the details provided check out, and then we proceed with the withdrawal process. Note if the customer is not available, we try to reach out via email, SMS, and even WhatsApp. This is a mandatory process and our customers love this withdrawal step, if gives them the confidence that their funds are safe.

Do you make payments via Mpesa?

Currently, Mpesa is not a mode of payment, however, this is a process we are working on, and once we implement it, we shall notify you.

WITHDRAWAL FAQS

What is the minimum initial amount, and minimum for top-up?

The minimum initial amount is Kes 5,000, thereafter the minimum top-up is Kes 1,000

What is the required frequency of topping up?

Customers can top up their investments at any time, daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

Does the account become dormant if I do not top up regularly?

No, the account remains active, as long as the minimum balance requirement (Kes 5,000) is met.

How do I top up my investment?

Customers may top up via Mpesa or Bank transfers. As per the details provided.

For Mpesa the customer is required to quote their member number as the account number.

For Bank transfers, we recommend that the customer share the transaction advice for ease of
follow-up. This is because at times funds are reflect in our account without sufficient narration,
and this may delay the investment process.

What is the cut-off time for making deposits?

One can make deposits at any time; however, it is important to factor in the investment cut-off time, which is 11:00 am. For example, deposits made funds received before 11:00 am will be processed and receipted on the following working day (t+1). Funds received after 11:00 am will be processed and receipted on the subsequent day (t+2).

Do I get a confirmation once I deposit? How will I know you have received the funds?

Once the funds have been invested, an SMS confirming the deposit is sent as well as a detailed email confirming the amount invested, units purchased and value date is shared.
