Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited, a subsidiary of Madison Group Limited, is a well-known provider of life assurance, group schemes and pension administration in Kenya. The Group also provides through two other subsidiaries, general insurance underwriting as well as fund management services. 

The Company is recruiting for the position of Business Conservation Analyst reporting to the Operations Manager. The job holder will be based at its Head Office in Madison House, Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Champion automation of MLAK dashboard reports and monthly operations reports on BI.
  2. Co-ordinate the departmental ICT champions for testing of the core system issues raised weekly.
  3. Assist in industry data analysis on quarterly basis and any adhoc requests.
  4. Assist in market data analysis and give insight on data trends.
  5. Assist with the financial projections on product lines and branches.
  6. Report on comparative analysis using the industry IRA, RBA reports and other data sources.
  7. Assist Operations in the compiling of the various board reports.
  8. Support other departments with data analysis required to fully execute their activities.
  9. Support, monitor and review operations automation process in consultation with the departmental managers and the Business Analyst.
  10.  Assist in keeping track of the risk registers to mitigate the risks and responses to any operational audit issues raised.
  11. Other duties as may be assigned by the operations manager from time to time.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  1. At least 2 years’ experience as an analyst in an insurance company, investment house or stockbroker.
  2. Attention to detail.
  3. Self-starter who is well organized.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Academic and Professional Qualifications required.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  2. Professional qualification in Accounts or Finance.
  3. Data Analysis/Business Analytics Certification.
